When they were returning from the
hospital that afternoon, Jack got a call from his friend Allie, one of the
Lakota that he met and was friends with from the last trip.
“I was wondering if you would want
to join us for a sweat tonight.” She said.
Jack had read about the sweat lodge
ceremony over the years. So he was very
excited to participate.
“Yes! Of course! Yeah!”
